Blues and Greens

Hello everyone. Things are heating up here. We are officially riding the wedding train and I am pumped. What a gorgeous day yesterday was for a wedding! We did 2 lovely events, one at the Bryant Park Grill and the other at the Foundry in LIC. Side note: How cute is LIC?! I am not very familiar with that part of Queens (originally being a northeast Queens girl). I was super intrigued. Funny, no matter how long you live in this city you never will know it all. Anyway, things were moving fast and I did not get the best photos of the tables. Hoping to get some from the photographers soon. Here's what we did for the Foundry. Blues and greens, casual and elegant bbq dinner catered by Blue Smoke. The smells coming from the kitchen were ah.mazing.

Bridal bouquet. Lots of goodies in here...two types of garden roses, parrot tulips, sweet peas, muscari, scabiosa pods, ferns, fritillaria, gerarium, and other things I forgot...

Massive Dogwood in urn set in the old forge.

How beautiful. I especially love the simplicity of the mismatched jars and bottles holding your beautiful arrangements. All of it, really. Beautiful.

That is perfection. Love the blue touches, muscari, the tweetia, and the white agapanthus in a vase. Beautiful wedding.

Denise, you've outdone yourself! I am especially fond of the vintage touches. Your flowers are always incredibly beautiful.

the foundry looks incredible and so do your bouquets! they just give me chills they're so pretty, especially the first one. and, the spool of thread under the dome is wonderful. i think you would really enjoy a visit to gantry state park on the east river in lic. there are also so many restaurants nearby on vernon boulevard. nyc is great, we're lucky to live here and appreciate it!
