A very big thanks to Susan over at Florali who turned me on to these incredible images of the Omo People of Ethiopia. Thank you! I love them. I can't believe I've never seen them before. Talk about creativity and expression! Doesn't it look like so much fun to do? Really incredible. I believe these photos were taken by the German photographer Hans Silvester. Kinda reminding me of the hair design in Anthropologie's March catalogue...
Awesome. Thanks for posting the Omo images. The Anthropologie ads are a great contrast, but are rather more reminiscent IMO of St Johns Day flowers woven into the hair in Scandinavian countries.
i LOVE these!!! did a headpiece shoot on Friday and am nervously awaiting the final shots. brilliant inspiration! :) ps - so i renominated you for a sunshine award...which i know isn't really how it's supposed to work, but you my lovely are an inspiration! x
