Second post in the "Just For You" series (I know I gotta think of better name). Anyway, this vase is one of my all time favorites. Hand made by Whitney Smith Pottery, it normally sits empty on my shelf. The mouth of the vase is super small so it's hard to find anything that fits. However, yesterday's wedding yielded some extra thin stemmed clematis blooms. Aha! I refused to give them up to the caterer and carted them home on the subway. I'm not going to lie it literally took me 20 minutes to get the stems to sit just right. I continue to fuss with them. Enjoy you Sunday!

This is why you are a florist and I am NOT! I have tons of clematis, but never even thought to CUT them for an "arrangement". As soon as it stops raining (yippee! we need it desperately) I shall be cutting some for the house. I love that idea. thanks.

You have a garden woman! You should be cutting all sorts of little lovelies all year long. I'm supremely jealous of you. Go forth and cut!

I cut my clematis, evil laugh. That's Bee's Jubilee.
