It doesn't matter if I've only slept for 5 hours the night before a shopping day. I am never tired. I set my alarm but I always pop out of bed before it goes off with a mix of nerves and excitement. I have this recurring dream (nightmare). It goes like this...I walk into my wholesalers, the lights are dim, it's cold and there are no flowers...just scraps, maybe some sad snapdragons and dried out eucalyptus. I demand to know where my order is and then the market somehow transforms into my old high school and I am late for class ?! Once I even dreamt that I walked out of the subway station at 28th street to find that the market no longer existed. Nothing. If they put up another freaking hotel...maybe it won't! Hello anxiety. I will continue my saga another time. Here is a little boutonniere for you on this overcast day. Enjoy

Love this image (I'm a nut for porcelain) and loved seeing all the bouquets! My favorites were #s one and three--so beautiful.

I totally had a similar dream last night - it was sheer craziness.

I dreamt that we forgot to bring our decorations to an event. I'm there for at least an hour chatting wit the bride, my assistant, etc. until it dawns on me that everything is still sitting in our storage space. I'm completely panicking...

I try to send my assistant to drive out to our unit, but we're in Manhattan and the storage space is in Bkyln, we have an hour left before the guests arrive.

Then I woke up.

I'm exactly the same. The LA market opens about 3 and all of the gardeny flowers are gone by 5. I can never sleep the night before. I just lie in bed waiting to spring up and get there.

visiting here always brightens my day. This post makes me smile. I also have weird dreams when something important is coming up. Thanks for the gorgeous photo.
