Winter Wedding

The bride for this winter wedding came to me with 2 large vintage doctor bags and asked I arrange flowers using them as the vessels. I believe her dad or grandpa are doctors. Once I decided on using this amazing eucalyptus branch and twisty willow it came together. The whole affair had a "British Colonel" design feel. I loved the mossy olive green, deep plum and antique gold color palette.

Denise,

Your designs are amazing. This post is just what the dr. ordered. (Sorry couldn't resist that).

OMG I love all of these. The bouts, the bouquets and especially the arrangements in the medicine bags. Isn't it great when a customer brings in their own container? I've done flowers in riding boots, army boots (bit smelly those) a riding hat, a baby potty (unused) etc.etc. But I love to read your posts and see what you are up to. All your work is freah and fabulous.

I agree with flwrjane! I love your posts and like both of you my favorite thing is to use alternative vessels. I'll be experimenting with more old tins in the coming days and tea cups too! Beautiful work Denise!

Lovely. The succulent is a nice addition...and what fun to use an old travel case.
