Harvest Moon

Orange unique and black beauty roses, dahlias, scented geranium, red cosmos, smoke bush, burgundy scabiosa, pink astilbe, bittersweet and sweetgum branch. Loads of pumpkins and gourds. Lovely details. And yes, I carved their initials on a pumpkin...well, Christine got it started.

Moss Under Glass

The other week I received a special package from a dear friend who lives on many acres of woods in Western Mass. She sent me two ziplock bags of the most amazing mosses and baby ferns. I am so happy with the terrariums and succulent arrangements I threw together. They are brightening up my storefront window right now. I hope they last! Happy Monday all.

Stars on the Ceiling

The chuppah was made of birch poles that I had cut to size beforehand. It was attached to a simple metal structure. Green amaranthus simply hung down the sides. It was perfect for the weathered and worn interior. Isn't that ceiling amazing?! The lighting at the Angel Orensanz is incredible, it totally transforms the place. The escort table was a large arrangement of spirea (aka. bridal wreath) in an urn.

Soft and Romantic

The reception was in whites, blushes and pinks. Fluffy peonies, garden roses, nigella, dusty miller, tulips, geranium filled the main centerpieces. The tables also included little moss filled cylinders with white cymbidium orchids, mercury glass filled with fragrant herbs, succulents and moss and grape vine spheres. The whole table was aglow with mercury glass votives. Magical.
