My Hero

Fellow flower lovers, I know you will understand. There are so many crazy talented designers working all over this great big globe, many who are working in this country, many many working right here in this insane city. Through the years I've developed flower crushes on many. There are the greats like Constance Spry, Christian Turto and Arielle Chezar who are amazing. Yet, lately I've developed quite possibly my biggest crush yet. Whenever I need a beauty injection I turn to Lewis Miller of LMD Floral Events. Hands down, this man captures it all. His work is complex but not overly fussy. It's extremely artful and studied. Even when it's full of lots of different kinds of flower types it never looks messy. He can do girly girl and manly man to perfection. It's modern and garden inspired at the same time. His container and flower pairings are so inspiring.
Also which I'm sure you know or at least assumed some folks in this biz can be well kinda diva-like (surprised?!). And the word on the street is he is one of the nicest guys around. I actually saw him this morning in the market and blushed. One day I will approach him.
I've posted some clips of my favorite arrangements from him. But I suggest you also check out his event work. Stunning. It's super challenging to create an intimate floral viewing experience when working on such a big scale, yet he pulls it off with ease. I can only dream.

Thank you so much for posting this. I love finding new inspiration and as a very young florist getting to know the industry's best is a key part in my career.
