Chain of thoughts

Looking at rugs by Madeline Weinrib....

Led to looking at Gee Bends quilts ...
 
Which led to vintage Japanese futon covers...
 Which ultimately reminded me of the paintings of Sean Scully...
With stripes on the brain, I head out into the day. Enjoy your weekend.

Interesting. We just put in hardwood floors, so will need a rug. It appears that I need to start Googling. Thanks for the inspiration.
