Been thinking about art lately...back in the recesses of my mind. I've always loved the work of the American sculptor Martin Puryear. Clean, thoughtful, formal and steeped in craftsmanship. I would like to make something in this vein someday but with a big colorful flourish sitting right on top like a cherry. Moma has a great website of his work.
