The Urban Meadow
Okay. Get back to work. Paperwork. Wash vases. But I want to sit in that chair a read a book at the Urban Meadow. When will the sun shine?

fluffy and floaty
This hair piece is just gorgeous. I wish I wore this on my wedding day. Can I wear one around town just for the heck of it? By Handle and Spout. Found at Mary Ruffle.

Highline
After dropping these lovelies off for a fundraiser at the Chelsea Market, Littlest Pheasant and I popped up to the Highline for a quick stroll. Having worked for the architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro who co-designed it with Field Operations - it was extra special for me to experience it finished. I was privy to seeing it on paper first. It's amazing how the initial renderings looked so much like the finished product! All those years of hard work on their part has really paid off. What an incredible addition to New York City's public spaces. You all must go for a visit.

Cherry Red
Instead of working I'm surfing around Etsy and thinking of cherries - the fruit, the flower and the color.

Lavendar and Birch
Thank you to all that came out to this past weekend's Recession Friendly Wedding Event at Sweet Revenge (which I can personally attest has the most delicious cupcakes). Here are some shots of what I designed.

Spring Fresh Wedding
Here is a clean and modern design for an early spring wedding at Bubby's in Dumbo. We placed wide grosgrain ribbon down the center of the tables and added little cubes of green grass. It all looked seriously refreshing. Thank you to photographer Lauren Slusher for her terrific images. She has one of the happiest websites I've ever seen. Love it.
